They used to bury the dead so the cemetery is pretty close to the beach,. Hence the real name - the beach of death. - but it's a pretty awesome beach regardless. postcard picture perfect well worth the journey.

Beautiful beach! You get there by boat, and once there, you can do snorkling, swim, drink and eat something very good cooked right there. A must see!

This beach is amazingly beautiful. Since it's in a national park, the beach is surrounded by mountains, trees, a really natural landscape. We had a blast! Did, drinks, and shade available for cash only. Highly recommend!!

The reviews are right! Yes 1) the boat ride is really scary with large swells and a small boat stuffed with people/coolers/bags - not for those who get seasick, or the very young or old. Although many peeps did not seem at all bothered. 2)...More

If you're planning to go via Neguanje, I think the best (and most affordable option) is to buy a day package with a local tour operator. That way you'll have transportation for every step of the tour without having to worry... More

I too would suggest Tayrona National Park as you get a good dose of nature, jungle, bouldering and beach--I'm not sure how ambitious your kids are about walking (as the furthest beach is 8km from the park gate)--however... More
