Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

There's some information and pictures displayed, and keep an eye out for the charming old post box, but there's not much else to keep you here.

I like this place. Not the old train in the middle, but the atmosphere that they have created is nice. Historical murals on the walls, small coffee shops make here to have some rest and enjoy. Just pass by even if you don't sit in the cafe.

Walking from La Alpujarra Administrative Center to the Parque de las Luces (The Lights Park), we passed by the newly restored Edificio del Ferrocarril de Antiooquia in Plaza de Cisneros, that is also named after the same engineer who headed the construction of Antioquia Railway, Francisco Javier Cisneros.
The railway was started in 1874 and took 55 years to complete, but with the construction of new roads the service declined and was sold off in 1961.
This is not really a museum just a large empty building with a few historic pictures on the walls, a post box, and a little cafe.

Tip: Its close to the Alpujarra metro station so a very good place to visit all the other sights in the area.

This is a nice spot for sightseeing and of certain architectural value. There is an old train station, I believe the first in Medellín, and inside there are two nice architectural mockups of the surrounding buildings. Next to the station stands one of the old steam locomotives from the beginnings of the Colombian rail industry (see picture).

It is located next to La Alpujarra Administrative Center of Medellín, and steps away from the Alpujarra metro station.

The building is nice and has a few historic pictures but it is not a museum. Depending on where you look up this building it may or may not be described as a museum. It is not. It's not really worth a trip out there unless you have other sights to see close by.

This historic building has been very well maintained and there is a garden inside where you can sit and enjoy a quiet moment. It is like an oasis in the middle of a shopping area and offices.

I saw this attraction while walking to the Alipujara Metro Station. I briefly visited it and noted that it appeared to be an old Train Station.

It is not worth the extra effort and time to visit this attraction. It just happened to be along my way.
