Helps you learn more about the history of art in Colombia, so it is highly recommended. There are beautiful pieces by Botero and other colombian artists such as Pedro Nel Gomez. It's cool to see how their stories are entwined with the history of Medellin.

If you like art and Botero this place is great. Statues and sculptures in the plaza out front are also fantastic. There are many oil on canvas Botero paintings inside. A fabulous collection of paintings if you like that sort of thing. The gift shop...More

Visited for about 45 minutes. Reasonably expensive to get in (18000 COP, approx $6), at least compared to the free entry Museo de Botero in Bogota. Lots of Botero paintings and sculptures, along with many other artists. The biggest downside was the illogical layout of...More

It boggles me that visitors could review this museum after spending a short time here, or say that Botero is the only attraction. While Botero is wonderful, and you should (as the guard told us) start at the top and work your way down, there...More

It costs 18000 pesos and it is only about Botero and some modern art. If you don't like Botero don't bother going.

an incredible museum with the most incredible Botero paintings. I was blown away by the number of paintings and the size of them. Before you enter the museum you walk through the plaza de Botero and it only sets you up for the feast you...More

Overall a great time visiting the museum. The price is relatively cheap (about $7 per person) and there is a ton of artwork related to Colombian artist, including the famous Botero. Would highly recommend going if interested in Colombian art.

A neat museum, especially if one is looking to explore highly influental Colombian artist, even though other works also are exhibited here.
