Taking the Metro then the cable cars to get to Arvi Park is a lot of adventure in itself, especially if you have never ridden a Metro train or a cable car! The trip from downtown to the cable car station takes only a few minutes, then you get into an 8 person car and glide over some of the... More

Located at the very top of the Metro Cable - giving you wonderful views of the city and the top of the mountain, there really isn't much to see or do at Arvi, but bring a blanket and lay out. Or hit the vendor carts and have an organic beer. Other than that, nice place to connect with nature for... More

We only spent a few hours walking around. There are guided tours but only in Spanish. The maps were kind of unhelpful but nevertheless we were able to get around.

The journey up the mountain is half the fun using the metro cable cars over the rows and rows of hillside communities. It's quite the peaceful trip as you are as high as the hawks flying yet get a sampling of the sounds of the people under you. Once you enter the park area, you become one with nature again... More

Great way to beat the Medellin heat, or get away from the city life. Very easy to get to via Metrocable. Plenty of walking pathways.

I was a bit disappointed by the Parque Arvi. There are no hiking paths on top and you're not allowed to walk around by yourself. If you want to walk you have to take a guided tour and a lot of the walking is on paved streets...(but not all! Don't be fooled, flip flops are not appropriate shoes. A guy... More

To visit this park make sure you get here early during the day. It is far from the city and there is too much to see and hike. Take the metrocable and enjoy the city view while travel to a very cool park.

We took one of the tours offered and really found it very interesting and enjoyable. Mind you it is in Spanish. It is still worth taking. Good chance to be with locals.

This park is high up in the mountain s surrounding Medellin. The entrance fee includes the ride up and back, and costs less than $2.00 per person. The cable cars go higher and higher, and you can see changes in the vegetation as you rise through several temperate zones. the views are spectacular. The air quality is much better than... More
