The sculptures of Botero are amazing, but the environment is horrible. There is all kind of beggars, strange street amusement and unsafe local around that place. Not in a good part of town.

A very nice place to admire the sculptures, but is way too crowded, people everywhere taking pictures and trying to sell you something. Avoid them and go inside the museum to really enjoy Botero's art!!!

Plaza Botero is in a really lively neighboorhood with a lot of food stands and little shops. The place itself is cute with all those Botero statues and a great place to sit down on a bench, have an empanada and watch people. :)

I personally love this artist, and this place is full of his sculptures. Very close to the metro station, and full of people also at night. Recommended
