The Park is a great tribute to the citizens of Medellin, the sculptures are so full of life and each one has a life of it's own. The Park is well protected by The Policia, it's very safe, shops and eating all around.

If you enjoy sculpture take some time to walk around. You could do this along side a walk through the old area of Medellin. I have heard from locals that it gets sketchy at night but during the day it was a nice stroll.

The sculptures are beautiful but there are so many street vendors harassing you that is not enjoyable. Also you do not want to be in this plaza at night. There is a lot of homeless around this area at night and is not safe for...More

Great collection of Botero sculpture. Was great to walk among the pieces and see kids playing on them.

The plaza is clean and secure. The sculptures are world class. Medellin is privileged to have such a collection. The area around is pedestrian friendly, with shopping and people watching. The best local cuisine I ate was in that area. The Metro station is not...More

I confess I'm not a big Botero fan, but I applaud the way he gave back to Colombia. One way is the placement of his sculptures in areas with public access, such as this plaza. It appears to be a popular place for "selfies", and...More

No trip to Medellin wouldn't be complete without seeing and spending time with the beloved Boteros. Definitely hit this park up and bask in the Boteros glory. Also check out Botero paintings in the cultural center.

Funny sculptures, you'll spend less than an hour to make a selfie with every single one. And you don't have that much of heritage in the historical center of Medellin anyways

In this Plaza there are twenty three large statutes that you can photograph and even touch and climb on The area is great for walking and shopping as well and no cars were allowed in the area so it was very easy to walk around
