Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Another plaza or square with eateries and a few things to see including a sculpture by Fernando Botero and a Church. Of course you will pass it when walking around the Walled City so take a look for sure. It comes alive more in the evening.

Quite as busy plaza with cafes and the church in the center. Be aware of taking a photo of any native Colombia in costume as they will make you pay for photos taken.

This area is pretty cool! There are tables with umbrellas, black wrought iron chairs and a bunch of people sitting around having coffee or cocktails. This is one of those places where you're overcharged because you're a tourist. We were told it is $10 for a beer the second a cruise ship has docked. Be careful because there is a lot of street hustle in Cartagena, but with a good guide and a little research, you should be alright! Overall, it is a great experience.

Located inside the walled city has some interesting sights.
Surrounded by cheap gelato & tourist shops.
Vendor rich area .
I might be a bit sarcastic.

This plaza is right outside the Santo Domingo church. It is very active and contains the "fat woman" statue right in front of the church. There are numerous restaurant tables in the plaza and they offer a nice place to sit, have a drink, and watch the locals and the tourists. There are many street vendors at the plaza along with musicians to entertain you table-side. The sun in the afternoon departs the plaza about 3:30pm making it a spot of relief in the afternoon.

A good plaza for a drink and for people watching: a decent spot to have a rest after exploring the beautiful streets of the old town. The church which the plaza is named after is worth a visit. But food is pretty basic - stick to appetizers - and it is rather overrun by musicians, hawkers, and others trying to raise a dollar.

Inside the walls, the old colonial city is so charming. The bright vibrant colours & wonderful architecture are captivating.
