The well restored, convent is located in the highest point in Cartagena. The convent and the church is very beautiful. The view is breathtaking. The whole of Cartagena city is visible from the convent terraces. The many microwave radio towers scattered around the convent is a real eye sore.

In this lovely place of peace and reflection you can see how the friars live (at least the public areas) and there is also a fine view of the city below. There are refreshing breezes, and this is nice, because Cartagena is very hot.

A convent at the top of Cerro La Popa with an amazing almost 360° view of the city. Went with a guide as part of a city tour and the information about the history of the place was excellent.

Spectacular altar, impressive collections and amazing stone work. Hard to believe that this is on a mountain top. 400 years old, neglected for years then restored in the 1970s

The Convent is small but beautifully built and decorated. Our guide made it better by providing the historical facts surrounding the Convent.

This is a good place to visit to get a sense of how the water, land, walled city, city market and other aspects of the landscape all fit together. Its a stunning view. We took a cab up (not a place to walk to) and had him wait for us the half hour it took to appreciate the site. That's... More

A definitely stop for 10 minutes, you will get the best view in town. Will be better if you take a Taxi would be more cheaper than a tour.
