Magical Place
Dec. 2019
The visit to this Magical Place is a MUST because it will explain the origin of the legend of El Dorado, the findings of the Oro Museum and the archaeological significance of these legends.
It is far from Bogotá, about 2 hours. In addition to that, you have to climb to be able to contemplate the lagoon.
It is a protected area from every point of view and you have to come up with a guide who wil show you the natural beauty, the meaning of some plants and the location, as well as the whole history of the area. It is a place of contemplation that is worth visiting.

Great cars, safe drivers and a real comfortable feeling knowing everything has been taken care of!
Oct. 2019
Both of my drivers were professional and made me feel safe and comfortable knowing I was being taken care of in the best possible way! It's such a good feeling to arrive in Cartagena and know there's someone waiting for you to get you through the crowd and into the hotel!

Right Mindset
Oct. 2019 • Couples
Late to pickup, we thought they left us but they finally came. The phone number provided doesn’t work, I tried direct calls and whatsapp. When they FINALLY arrived, it was good. Bus was packed, 6 to a row. Very accommodating host, spoke both English and Spanish. Unlimited alcohol (cheap stuff but it does the job). We stopped at a location with the other Chiva busses for a couple minutes for some drum performances, had an arepa and then we went to a small club in Old Town. You can have fun if you come with the right mindset. Also saw many kids on the other Chiva busses so if you have kids, I guess it’s okay to bring them along. Gave us the option of staying in Old Town or to take us back to our hotel.

Super fun
Sep. 2019 • Couples
Ride around drinking all-night and yelling singing do whatever you please. Alot of fun. Can't believe we had to leave so soon. Would have booked another night to cruise the city streets in style.

The Negative Reviewers Must Have Used a Different Company
Jul. 2019 • Solo
As my ex-wife pointed out more than once, I am an impatient, anal-retentive pain in the neck normally and even worse when traveling on some (purported) vacation. Accordingly, I am not hesitant to get out the old poison-pen and slice and dice any particularly disappointing hotel, restaurant, transport vendor, etc. from a travel experience. Thankfully, that is not a necessary exercise in this case. I can not say enough good things about Azula. In every instance, they were polite, gracious, accommodating. Their vehicles were spotless and the drivers were knowledgeable, very professional, and frankly indulgent and patient with a PITA like me. I could explain at length the many things the home office company also did for me after - what an idiot at 57 years old - I missed my flight and had to reschedule for the following day. (That may not sound like a big deal but in their business it is a major last minute scheduling and personnel assignment headache!) Anyways, thank you Azula for introducing me to a company I can now reply upon in South America and not worry about the possible problems/worries one may have with some otherwise unreliable or unknown transportation service. All my best, - Eric (Rick) Stanco erstanco@suretylaw.com

Volcano totumo
It was real fun and a amazing experience. I just wish that they will mention here that you will have to paid extra for the massage that they do once you inside the volcano. Literally you won’t have an option they just start without asking and when the ladies give you a bath at the lagoon(you could called it) also if you want to take pictures you will need to pay someone to take them with your phone. Each thing cost $5 thousand Colombian pesos. Overall it was a great experience and we really enjoy it!☺️

Not a Party Bus
Jul. 2019 • Couples
The Chiva bus has so much potential but it fell so short.

1) You spend the first 1 hour driving to pick up people at different hotels. It's not like it's a cool ride. It was literally driving in circles.
2) The alcohol is small bottle of white rum and a bottle of coke for your row. It was just weird. The entire ride there are street vendors trying to sell you beer.
3) You don't go to any bars. You drive around in circles and they stop you in a park where there are people who harass you to buy beer and other crap. You pay a local store to use their bathroom. It's not cool at all. It's just a way for them to get your money.
4) Our Chiva had multiple families with kids. Who brings kids on a Chiva "Party" Bus.
5) There is no way I would touch that food.

I would not recommend this tour to ANYONE. They could make it fun by taking you to a couple of cool local bars. Why would anyone want to drive in circles then stop for 45 minutes at a park to be harassed by vendors. Such a disappointment.
