You can feel transported several centuries back. It is the historical place of Cali, very beautiful, very safe to walk around. Close to this place the best pandebonos of Cali.

La Merced, right in the center of the city, is part of the very traditional historical atractions that Cali has to offer its visitors. It is filled with very nice architectural designs and stories that will make your imagination fly. This place was once a...More

Beautiful old building, I believe it was a monestary or church. Parts of the original walls remain. Lush courtyard in the middle with rooms around the garden, each representing different eras in Colombian history. Well worth the time.

A good museum to pop by, but not essential. It is sad to see so much art fading away in the elements. The nun there was very friendly and gave us a very personable tour. The best part was to see the oldest wall in...More

There isn't much to the museum, but what was there was interesting and well curated. I recommend taking a peek if you're a museum aficionado like me. The building itself is also very beautiful. By the way, none of the text is in English.

A bit disappointing. There are a few examples of decorative work by the indigenous peoples but having been to San Agustin, Tierra Dentro and other museu,s there wasn't much needed. OK if you don't get to other places at all
