Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This museum is a precious monument to culture and history through salsa, from a family that had a front row seat to seeing it all happen in Cali! I did the tour in Spanish first although I could not understand it all, but it was still worthwhile. Then i stayed and heard the tour again with a guide who could translate. Very well worth it. So fun, a lot to learn, and visiting here helped me fall in love with Cali.

This is just a bar with pictures, not a true museum. The one in Puerto Rico (the number one exporter of Salsa Music and where the best and the majority of Salsa singers and musicians hail from) is a true museum of Salsa. Anyone who truly wants to know the origins of the genre Salsa music and its true culture (no, it isn't just "cuban music" even though cuban music is a main root) needs to definitely go to Puerto Rico.

I think the best way to describe this museum is that it's basically a bar (kind of in the style of a traditional rumba place) with a lot of pictures of Salsa musicians on the wall, with a handful of instruments and memorabilia next to the bathrooms. Nothing on Salsa dancing or the origins of the different styles.

A super magical place, worth visiting. The guide is a wonderful and charming boy. Also with dance animations and a good targo of brandy.
