Lovely gardens and buildings which were renovated for sharing an amazing collection of books which were rescued from past neglect. Unusual historical touch in a country were everything seems ultra-modern and high-tech.

The private library is famous for its private collections throughout history, but the books are currently protected and you can only get a small glimpse. It is great for educational purposes. The place itself is just ok.

It is an ancient library and also a home of once wealthy family. Better find a narrator to introduce the history because there is a lot to explain. The architecture is also great.

Hi, we will be arriving next Saturday, late afternoon at Melaka Sentral from KL. Would appreciate knowing how much I should pay for a taxi to Gingerflower boutique. What is a reasonable fare? If a taxi is not available, which bus should I take and which bus stop should I alight? Any advice welcome. Thank you. Evelyn

Sorry but I am not familiar enough with the destination, one of the reasons being that I was driven there by friends and not by taxi! Good luck and have a nice stay!
