Close to Tianyi Square

There are two vegetarian restaurants nearby, one offer a buffet spread, the other one good for normal breakfast and other meals

It was a typical temple in the middle of the city. The good thing for each tourist, there was no admission fee! It's always nice to see the buildings and roofs of the temples with their ornaments. This temple has a lot of bonsai style mini trees. They look pretty. I recommend this place. RomanP

This famous temple is near my childhood home and carries a special significance in my memory. People come here to get their blessings. Very well known for the local people. This is where they'd come to worship, and to memorize their ancestors.

Very well conserves temple. You can see perfectly how they used to live at that time and which is the daily use. There are explanations everywhere about each building and room and their use in the past. Totally recomended if you come to Ningbo city.

We went to the pagoda several years ago, on one of the hottest days of the summer. It is possible that I would give it a higher rating if we hadn't been so miserable from the heat--and from near-exhaustion after climbing to the highest point. The stairs are steep and, as you might imagine from looking at the photograph, they... More

Nothing usual or interesting to see here. Just a neighborhood temple. In front there are a couple of veggie restaurants that cater to the monks.

Ningbo Qita Si, or Seven Pagodas Temple is one of the most peaceful places I've been to. It is a real Buddhist temple with nothing commercial (just a nominal charge for entrance ticket), not like in main cities in China. Tranquil atmosphere and real Buddhist monks here and there. If you want to take a rest from the crowded city,... More

This temple is mainly for it is a very spiritual place, very peaceful. a bit far to reach, so try not to go or to be returning back during traffic hours. Very colorful temple, with very nice gardens, benches, lakes and turtles. Try not to take pictures or enter , while there is a service. They dislike it. I made... More

It actually look a lot like many other temples, except that it has 7 layers of the temples, and you can see their real monks inside. It was so quiet and peaceful, feel like you far away from the busy city, even you're literally in the middle of the city. Outside the temple, there're lots of small shops selling praying... More
