Fun in the sun

Great to watch the daily activity. The dancing has a local flavour with Uyghur music, quite unlike other parts of China. Worth the effort to get there

I saw lovely trees and beautiful flowers. In warm weather, in the early morning, there are lots of people exercising, walking and running laps. There are also people practicing tai qi and practicing tossing their singing tops. There are also ladies dancing for exercise. On Saturday and Sunday afternoons, I listened to people practicing musical instruments.

A stroll through the park provides great opportunities to observe local families relaxing and to offer a respite from the urban environment

Fabulous for people watching, in the morning or in the afternoon. Regular Chinese doing taichi, singing opera, dancing on Uighur music, playing Mahjong and cards, collecting pebbles, etc. A very nice stroll in the city and absolutely exotic for somebody not acquainted to Chinese parks.

The parks in China are a place were you can't stop wondering. There are handshaking courses taking place, live singing lessons, massaging elderly and the Chinees using the sportschool machines in very differnt ways. All in all a briljant little insight in a whole differnt world.

The park is good for people watching because a lot of people go there to do all sorts of things. So it's not so much the park that is anything special or different, but the amount of different groups of people to watch is SO interesting. We never use our parks in these ways and it is great to experience... More

Centrally located, the Ren Min Park is a great meeting place. Other than its location, Ren Min Park is not very special. It is a large park, and there are some very nice places to sit and have a picnic or drink a beer with friends, but the park itself is not different from other parks in the city.

Nice for a stroll, but not too interesting on its own. Conveniently located, however. Has loads of people exercising both in the morning and evening.

The park is worth a visit but only briefly. There is an interesting story about the 2 dragons and a great view of the city from the top hill, (although the view is only really of sky scrapers). There are amusements there if this is "your thing".
