The panda park is a great attraction within Chengdu, well presented, clean and allows you to get a good view of the pandas. Definitely recommend to anyone who has a few hours spare.

This could not really be called a zoo, as it was so well done. Lovely views and everything spaced out very nicely. Could see the pandas and the red pandas and the babies very well. Lots of walking - but that is the same for...More

Must visit if you go to Chengdu to see these giant cute pandas. They are active, mischievous, playful as well as lazy after eating food! So many pandas of different sizes! Started early in the morning around 7am and took line 2 to Panda Avenue....More

My strongest suggestion is to get there before 8 am. We did and were able to see so many pandas and the cutest babies. Take the shuttle up as it is a bit of a walk. When we left around 10:30 the lines were crazy...More

Get there early - when they open at 7:30am - to see the pandas at their most active. Could use a better map with better descriptions of different enclosures and what we could expect to see. But in the end it doesn't matter, you walk...More

We found that the main areas around the entrance and baby panda section were very crowded but you got good view if you were patient. If you push on further in to the red panda area and beyond there were a lot less people and...More

The setting is beautiful...no, better than beautiful. I would happily spend a whole day here. The pandas are lazy lumps so do everything slowly and if they can, without moving, so do not expect any major excitement. That said I could watch them for hours,...More

It opens really early 7.45 and people already there. Avoid public holidays it's soooo busy and no crowd control.
