Never seen so many Pandas. I am not really a fan of zoos but the enclosures were not exactly cages. Very striking animals to say the least. It was a Saturday morning and raining but was really busy, which I guess is most days. It's...More

If you are over 60 you get in free! Just bring your passport otherwise full price is 55 rmb and 27 rmb for student discount. Pay 10rmb to ride the shuttle and is well worth it.

Nice to see a million of Chinese wanting to see few pandas. Nice bamboo garden with no pandas. In summer all animals are hidden in the pavilions.

We arrived at opening time and it really was worth the effort. We were the only ones watching the cubs in their enclosure before they were let out for their breakfast. There were a few more people when they were let out just after 8.00am...More

What an experience to visit with these cuties do up close and personal. So much worth it to hold them even if only s minute. Well maintained and organized facility. Great way to spend time in Chengdu.

You can see pandas of various ages, up close. Go in the morning because they are the most active before 10am. You may need to wait a while, but eventually they'll do something fun, like climb a tree or wrestle with their buddies.

Surprised by the amount of new buildings in Chengdu it is the Panda base is now in suburbia. The base is nicely laided out and there are red pandas and golden pheasants to observe as well,

There is a short walk to the first enclosure and the tour round takes you from the adults, past the teenagers and finally to the cutest infants you will ever see! We were very lucky with the weather and temperature (22 deg) so all were...More

Lovely to see the pandas in a fairly natural setting. We saw a range of pandas from 4 days old to fully mature. We saw them swimming, playing, eating and sleeping. Great fun to watch. We also saw the unrelated red panda, very cute.

Hello, I am afraid I do not know, I do not recall seeing any luggage facilities there. Not sure if their website may have info. It gets very crowded and you will not want to be dragging main luggage around.

I saw people wheeling bags in through the main gates, so I assume there must be someplace to store them at the customer service center. If not, you can buy a tram ticket that circles the entire park with a hop off and hop on... More
