This city park on the water's edge is a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the heavy traffic of the city. The rocky shore is beautiful to view and clamber on, and the tide pools reveal sea life that the locals were collecting. The trails in the park are easy walking with a number of benches in the... It wasn't very peaceful but it was an interesting place nonetheless. A lot of people stood on brown rocks getting pictures taken of themselves by their friends. There are enough places to sit despite so many people there. The best part is getting pictures of the pier from a distance.

This is located along the marina area from 1st beach. Walkable and you get to enjoy the view along the marina area.

Overlooking the public beach and the sea. Nice breezes blow whilst you admire the view. The section of the promenade is dedicated to Lu Xun the poet and writer. I admire his works greatly, and bought his complete works translated into English when I was in Shanghai a long time ago. He was a very talented writer my favourite work... More

The sea breeze is wonderful in the hot summer. Pine trees offers good shade and photo ops. Nice view of the bay at high points and easy access to the sea level to cool off your feet.

Its a very peaceful and quiet park with the history of Luxun. It is along Bin Hai Da Dao, and next to under water world.

It's a nice beachfront viewing area but it's a place you'd stop coming or going from somewhere else. I wouldn't go out of my way to see it.

This links the No 1 banking beach with Xiaoqingdao Island, about a mile. It is a nice walkway with the sea and rock pools on one side and small rock cliffs ( and at one point the aquarium) on the other. It can get busy, but it's nice.

This park is a restful place, I think named after a poet. A lovely picnic spot or stroll round the bay towards Little Qingdao island. Between No 1 and the naval museum. Any time of year this is a lovely seaside place to visit.
