If you are on a tour of china, it is probably rushed. this is the place to slow down, walk slowly and enjoy the plants, the architecture and the landscape. This is a place to sit and enjoy the beautiful park, rushing through it is a waste of time.

A very typical, peaceful park when visited towards the end of the day. Various viewpoints, covered walkways make for a pleasant visit. Unfortunately I am not able to further elaborate on the theme / history and would recommend further reading of other reviews for a comprehensive background of the site.

The garden is versatile. Not only it has all elements of a typical Jiangnan garden, but also it has a big lake. Walking along the lake refreshes your mind and cheering up. Another interesting point is the beautiful love story dating back to thousands of years. The adorable couple ever lived in the small isle in the lake. Try to... More
