This garden has many fun nooks and crannies for exploring from all of the unique rock structures, making it quite unique among the gardens in Suzhou. For this reason, however, it can become very congested when there is a crowd, so I would recommend not...More

Not as huge as the Humble Garden nearby, the Lion Forest can still get quite crowded, but has a more serene feel thanks to it's compact area. Many pavilions and many artefacts to see inside, as well as the very nice gardens and lakes themselves.

This is one of the only Zen gardens remaining in China, started in the 14th century and now a World heritage site. It is a graceful collection of gardens, ponds, highly decorated halls and rock gardens. It is very beautiful and relaxing - well worth...More

We enjoyed our trip here. It's a beautiful place with interesting sculptures and lovely garden areas. It's easy to get to and inexpensive. Tip.... go early before it gets busy.

This place has some cool buildings and the layout is interesting, but there is very little gardening and more of an installation of rocks. The rocks are meaningful and required a lot of work and maintenance, but just not what I was expecting.
