enjoyed walking through Luzhi town ourely because it kept its traditional charm and is not as commerciallised as Suzhou, Tongli or Zhuangguang. Not that all of the others have their special charm, but Luzhi is just sweet and charming, not perfect. It is friendly and...More

Had a walk there after lunch. Good place to experience the old building of China. Was told that the town has 2500 years of history.

We like to avoid the usual tourist route, so I was happy to learn about Luzhi and to go through the trouble to get there. Because it’s off the tourist route, you have to find your way there. It’s not out of the way, but...More

Luzhi is wonderful. A true water town with beautiful stone canals, houses and shops. A relaxing place to wander and the shopping is cheap. This is my #1 pcik to visit.
