Be sure to try the Octopus Balls. Many choices from traditional Wuhan pancakes to dumplings. Crowded and fun. We didn't go to other street markets in Wuhan so cannot compare.

I'm not really a fan of the arrays of local delicacies and snacks offered here but the experience of walking down the streets wasn't that bad eventhough it's a bit crowded. However, if you want to dare your tastebuds to local food, this might be one of the good places to try as you can find varieties of street food... More

I won't recommend this place. It is a low quality food and place. It smells like food was spoiled. I didn't find anything interesting.

We went here to have authentic food for breakfast. The problem was the smell! It was like rot and decay was all around. It's very difficult to eat when you are choking on the smells around you. There is also no clean place to use the bathroom. We even saw a parent hold his daughter over a trash can to... More

My favorite food here is the recognized re gan Mian family owned place. Local politicians come here to take a picture with the grandma who started the place. She sits in the back room with her friends and barks orders at her family members running the business. The dry hot noodles are a local specialty. The family also has home... More

as a local i have to say barely no one in Wuhan go to this street for breakfast or snacks. Lately a friend and i went there and it was crowded and kind of dirty. the food in hubu alley is just as usual as any other streets and even worse and expensive. personally don't recommend this place.

Like most places in china there are a lot of people.... so almost not worth mentioning... but if that is not a problem then worth a visit on your trip to Wuhan and close to a lot of bout tour landing

I have been traveling around China. This spot is ok. Not that great but just ok. It has all the things you need but nothing special. Still I would go again.

Just walking here on weekends can be dangerous and messy, with skewers of meat being whipped about, and the spills on your clothes as people jostle about. The soup dumpling shops are the highlight--crowded, cheap and fun. The Wuchang fish cookies, fish balls (with black flaked sea salt), and spiced pork sandwiches are the highlight. Wander through food stalls, the... More
