Decent selection of shops and food offerings.
Nice walking area and fairly clean.

If you need to shop for international (including chinese) brands this is the place to go to. It is quite happening at night and lots of local young people come here to shop. However it is not that different from all the shopping streets found...More
I came here only because this is where some western colonial buildings survive. They did, barely. What I mostly found was a pedestrianised shopping street with a huge number of brandname shops, the majority of which sold fashionwear. Nothing really interested me.

There are many different shops mostly top brands but some at excellent prices. There are all sorts of people shopping or just milling about. There are street performers just to add to the atmosphere. It was a safe place to be late at night.
