There are ample grounds to walk through, and to enjoy. There is also one large enclosed structure that has many biomes represented. The orchid display is great, the cacti wonderful, and much more. Plan on an hour or two just inside!

Very beautiful fountain in the middle of the botanic garden! It was very nice to see the multifarious trees in this garden! Different forms of flowers are all available to take photos for.

Entrance fee is rmb 40. Seasonal display of flowers means the plants were " planted" for display, making them looked unnatural. Prefer the natural native trees and plants in the garden. The garden was crowded on a Saturday afternoon.

It looked like nobody had taken care of the garden during the winter. Only the rohdendro was blossoming, so I guess I was a bit early (Mid April). Garbage all over the place, not nice. However I did enjoy that they had some underwater plants...More

Liked this a lot. Very relaxing to stroll through the gardens after the insanity that is downtown Wuhan. Close to the East Lake where you can take a relaxing boat ride.
