This is the main temple in Wuhan that had over half a million visitor during Chinese New Year day. There is a big plaza with a giant Guan Yin statue but even more impressive is the 108 Arhat inside the temple that's suppose to tell your fortune for the year

Was there on 7 Aug 2016, this is an amazingly resolute statue of Guan Yin in the temple! You can see the palaces like if I were in the Buddhist temple in anywhere of the world. Such an amazing place to be

Wuhan has several temples, but Guiyuan has to be the best by far. It is in Hanyang, a quick metro ride from any of the other parts of Wuhan. The areas around the temple are all currently under construction, which kinda kills the mood. The fee is 20 yuan to go inside. The entrance is just like any other temple,... More

This temple is maybe the biggest temple you can visit in Wuhan, you can admire a lot of differents Budha. You have also some delicious vegan food inside. It is better to visit it during hot weather.

We needed to kill a few hours so we visited this temple... it was alright, but we won't allowed to take pics of any Buddha statues or anything really worth while from a tourist point of view.... overall it was fine, but felt that it could have been better. Also, it was 20RMB per person to get in, and watch... More

Great place to visit, probably best to go in Wuhan. 500 gold arhat - you can spend hours finding your special one. Also a really good gem shop where you need to give thanks to Buddha for any purchases.

We visited this temple in a summer day. Unlike other more famous temples in other cities in China, this temple is not crowded at all. The 300 huddhas temple and another temple with a jade buddha are among the must sees in Wuhan. There is also amemorial complex newly built a few years ago for the last abbott of the... More

This sprawling temple complex is by far the most interesting sight in Wuhan and a must see stop. Although there is a nominal charge of 10CNY to enter, this was waived when I arrived as nobody had change of a 100CNY note! Inside there are multiple temples and shrines, with a variety of architecture and interior design. Around every corner... More

Guiyuan Temple is a neat, pretty temple area. It appears well-kept and is definitely fun to stroll around for an hour or two. It is nothing too spectacular, but for 10 RMB you cannot really go wrong with this one.
