Like many other places in Wuhan, this place has intensive works going on. I came over via a boat from the Ting Tao Scenic Area so I didn't know until I reached the shore. The North Gate is not accessible, and the South Gate is also in a mess. Worse is they don't say anything. I can read Chinese and... More

When my friend mentioned that we would go to some hill, we didnt have much expectations. This place is fabulous, very well maintained, having colorful trees and plants. We took the battery car to reach the top of the hill & then got down at the stop where we thought was the starting point for cable car ride. But instead... More

I was part of a foreign tour group who believed this place would offer an internationally acclaimed and spectacular site for viewing of cherry blossoms around late March this year. We were a little let down as the cherry trees were not packed enough along the lake side and the bridge where cherry blossom photography was best. Though the parts... More

Great walk about - try to avoid crowds. The hike around the park and to the top of the hill - up to the tower - offers nice views of the lake and the city. It's leafy and green, with some bits of culture, sculpture and a small museum dedicated to Chu culture up in the tower. The price (45... More

Beautiful, lovely, mountain park. I go there 20 times a year. There are always different parts to see or old favorite places to visit again. There's a tram car that I have yet to use and shuttles that can take you to different parts of the park. Lake side grassy areas and mountain top pagodas that look out over the... More

This place was such a great place to be to get away from the excitement of the city. There is so much to see and enjoy, from temples to lakes, and a lot of walking to be done. You can take well maintained stairs of the paved roads to get around the area. There is a haze around the area,... More

I had a really great morning at Mo Hill (Mo Shan) over the National Day holiday. It was not too crowded even though it was the end of the holiday week. The best way to get to the park is to take 402 city bus. The entrance fee was 48 RMB and be aware that there are other fees if... More

Lovely place. Was there over CNY period. Huge garden and not crowded. Way better than Zhong Shan Park. The ethereal garden smells sweetly of plum blossoms and it's a great place for picnics. Air was fresh and not polluted as was the city area in Wuhan. Refreshing and great place for couples, or families. Awesome photo-taking opportunities too. Only complaint:... More
