I was with a group of people who were visiting Zhengzhou for the first time and this is a logical place to take them. While Zhengzhou is a large city, Erqi Tower and the surrounding streets/shops are like the central hub of the city. The...More

The memorial pagoda was erected to remember and commemorate those who perished in the railway strike of 1923. The square underneath the pagoda is a nice place to hang out at night. The street food alley was a bit overrated, the foods are pretty standard...More

I have mixed feelings when it comes to writing my feedback about this pagoda. It looks kind of ugly. That is true but I like it somewhat. Probably this is due to its particular and unique shape. It overlooks a square which is the most...More

During the night time, these towers really look beautiful from a distance as they are well illuminated.

A photo stop - pagoda-like tower in a plaza. Nothing to really shout about. The surrounding area has good shopping and eateries. Especially interesting is a Taiwanese-like "eating street".

Although it is the memorial of the Erqi Strike (二七大罢工), which occurred on February 7, 1923, the building looks too modern. I would rate it a "one star" out of a scale of 1-5.

At night, these towers really look impressive from a distance as they are well illuminated and dominate the skyline. However, up close, they really are just ugly, concrete blocks made to look like pagodas. In the day time, they really are very dull. You can...More

It's there that's about all I can say of the tower. It's not in good condition, not very well kept. At night, the Christmasesque lights around it make it photo worthy. The shopping street is pretty fun, but I would not go out of my...More

Erqi Strike Monument Tower is a sign building of Zhengzhou. There are telescopes on the top. What attract tourists most is commercial malls in the neighborhood.
