Our driver, Mr. Zou, was most excellent. He did not speak English and we do not speak Chinese but his language translator worked good. He met us early in our hotel lobby. His car was warm (which was great because the outside temp was below zero) clean and comfortable. Due to the weather we did modify the tour by eliminating an event without any hassle.

Thank you for taking Harbin private tour guide car transfer service to Harbin winter top attractions, We have strict requirements for all cars and drivers. The interior of the car is clean, hygienic, and warm. No-smoking in the car. They must respect our guests and treat them politely. We only do what the guests ask and do not do anything else that wastes time.

Thanks Helen to accompany us during our visit, we spent 4 days in Yabuli, Snow City, Volga Manor and Harbin, even the temprature was very cold, we enjoyed our trip.
Helen is very kind, funny and very helpful tour guide, we loved her.

It was our first time in Harbin and our tour guide Joanna made it a very positive experience! She was extremely knowledgeable while showing us around, and very accommodating of all our needs. We are from a warmer climate and weren’t used to the cold, but she was always patient and understanding, and went out of her way to make sure we were enjoying the tour (by buying heat packs and willing to make lots of stops for us to warm up!). Harbin is a one-of-a-kind city, and Joanna was a wonderful tour guide that contributed to this highly memorable experience!

Samantha is an excellent guide. We spent two days with her and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Harbin. The Ice and Snow Festival, the ice sculptures, St Sophia’s Cathedral and the pedestrian street were all highlights. The tour of the Unit 731 Museum was moving and memorable.
Samantha’s winter clothes were perfect for the conditions.

We had an extra day in Harbin and decided to do a half day private city tour. We really enjoyed the tour with our guide Austin Liu. It was amazing to see the winter swimming at Songhua River and we had a nice walk along the Central Street. Visiting the Russian Town using Harbin Ropeway Ride was also fun as we could see people doing activities and walked crossing the frozen Songhua River. Our tour guide Austin Liu was amazing. If you have a free time in Harbin and just want to have a relaxing activity, I would recommend this tour for you.

My husband and I spent 4 wonderful and interesting weeks in April/May 2019 with driver Xu, traveling around China's Northeastern provinces (Dongbei) starting in Shenyang, continuing to Dalian, Dandong, Huanren, Ji'An, Changbai, Liaoyuan, Changchun, Qiqihar, Wudalianchi and Harbin (3days) where Xu is from. I speak some Mandarin, but even without, it would be no problem traveling with him as he has an excellent translation app and Baidu GPS.
Xu has an acute sense of what you might want to do, finds interesting places to see and eat. He is just such a nice person, drives carefully and is always punctual and very flexible. During the time we spent with him it felt like being a family.

Contacted Harbin Private Tour Guide on recommendation from our Chengdu guide Weaver. Set up the 3 day private tour with Samantha with our conservationist’s idea of skipping the caged animal tour. As a couple in our 70’s we tour the world at a very leisurely pace so we do not join group tours.
Mr. Zou met us on arrival at the airport and transported us safely to the Songbei Shangri-La Hotel. On the way, with his Bluetooth and google translate in his Toyota Camry, we exchanged pleasantries that he had visited Japan which where we were in December.
Next morning, we were met in the hotel lobby promptly at 9am to start our 3 day tour with our guide, Joanna Zhou. We visited the major tourist sites skipping Tiger Town and Polarland. We spend half day at Unit 731 Museum, half day at Chinese Baroque Street and full day at Volga Manor during the 3 days. Of course we spend time at the Ice and Snow Festival and at the ice sculpture park. It was -16 C at the Ice and Snow Festival when we were there.
During the tour with Joanna and Mr Zou, we dine at a local Harbin BBQ restaurant, a local Muslin Restaurant and a Russian restaurant which we enjoyed the local cuisine very much. Joanna shows great patience with our pace of sightseeing and couple of days, we didn’t get back to our hotel till after 6:30pm. At the end of our 3 day tour, Joanna wrote down in Chinese characters for taxis to take us to some places we might wanted to visit as we plan to spend 2 more days to explore Harbin on our own. We really enjoyed Joanna’s company during our 3 days and highly recommend Joanna with Harbin Private Tour Guide.

We have more experiences private tour with senior citizen in cold Harbin. We must make sure your tour slowly and flexible,and have more time for rest, you can back to hotel for rest, after continue to do the tour they like. I live in the tropical south of China (for work), so I initially had a few misgivings about going into the frozen tundra to check of an item on my bucket list - The Harbin Ice Festival. But I am so glad I did! Having heard from other expats that the public transportation in Harbin could be a bit dicey, I decided to sign up for a "Shared transfer service" (private driver). Imagine my surprise and delight when Ms. Helen Liu showed up as a tour guide. There was another lovely young female tourist in the car as well, so we made a real ladies' day out in the city. Helen was prompt, engaging, and fun - she has a "thousand watt smile" and her enthusiasm for her native city was quite refreshing. I never felt that she was "just doing her job" She also did not try to hurry us from site to site (as many Chinese tour guides tend to do), but let us meander at our own pace. She took us to a delicious dumpling shop for lunch, which she herself had just discovered. She was more than game to go sliding down the ice slides at the Ice Festival, and I felt sad I couldn't do it due to falling on the ice and acquiring a "silent-but-deadly" bruise on my hip. She even sent photos from our adventure to my Wechat (Chinese Messenger) after the days adventure was up, as my smartphone camera literally kept freezing. Samantha (the owner I think) was also prompt in responding to messages and getting us sorted as to the meetup point. I will return next year (with friends) and hope to have Helen along. Any folks considering visiting Harbin should consider this tour if you only have one day to stay, especially given the challenges of public transportation in Harbin, and ask for Helen for an engaging adventure.

Went there on a full day tour with our private guide David Han and his driver.
One if not the best experience we had during our holiday to Harbin. David was a top notch guide and very informative in the history and knowledge of his home place.
Would highly recommend to contact David and book one of those tours with him.

Samantha is knowledgeable and a pleasant companion for an afternoon. The weather was perfect for a stroll across the Songhua River and she picked an excellent restaurant for delicious Harbin cuisine, including 火把肉 (huobarou): fried pork in a sweet and sour sauce.

Hi, I'm visiting Harbin (family of 4) arriving on Dec 30 2017, staying 2 nights, then to Yabuli on Jan 2 2018, then back to Harbin again on Jan 5, 2018.
