Wow... so many tigers

We went to Siberian Tiger Park on 11 May. From ibis (兆麟街Zhaolin Street) to Siberian Tiger Park cab fare was about ¥40. Took about 30mins to reach there. Met an interesting cab driver on our way to the Park who kept pestering us to pay him an extra ¥35 to wait for us at the park's car park, then fetch... More

I have to say I was quite skeptical about this place initially. But this is quite an interesting park. It is mainly a bus ride through the various sections of this tiger park. But with so many tigers in the open, it was great fun especially with kids. There are literally hundreds of them. The return is through a caged... More

We took a cab from Shangri-La hotel to the park, which the ride took us across the Songhua River (from South to the North, twenty five minutes, $35RMB) The entrance fee is $100 RMB per person with extra $20RMB to ride the bus without glass window, so you could feed the tiger through the cage window (if you want to... This was one of the highlights of our visit to China and far exceeded our expectations. We were lucky to be there mid winter when the tigers were in full winter coats and contrasting brilliantly surrounded in snow. The area they live in is vast and you travel through it by bus after passing through Jurassic Park style gates. There... More

Its great to see the tigers roaming freely. They look very healthy and big. They are also many in numbers.

Feb 2016. Bus has lil windows and they warn you not to stick your hands/cameras outside them. A couple times when stopping for pix you'd open the window for clear pix/dirty windows, and you wouldn't even see a giant tiger sneak up from back of bus and go RIGHT under you! He'd be licking his chops and eye balling you... More

The tigers, lions and other cats are well taken care off and the facility looked very good too. You can see a lot of tigers and other cats. I did not like to see the cougars, leopards liger and younger tigers in the rusted small cages, but health wise they looked good. The biggest group of animals has space enough... More

Visited in Feb 2017 weil in Harbin for the ice festival. Seriously worth a visit. Fee 100RMB for a short van ride through the park, and then a walk back through a caged corridor at your leisure. They must have 100's of tigers, they were everywhere, great shots from the van (grab a seat with opening window) and then some... More
