Since we are comparative creatures, do not go to Central Street first. That’s the definite place to be. Gogol street is something to do if you are bored but do not come here after Central Street because you will be very annoyed that you did. Just avoid.

We went here thinking it might be similar to central street. It isn't. There is very little here for tourists, and nothing that central street doesn't have. There are upmarket shopping centres and an underground clothing market, but don't let me make it sound interesting, it really isn't. Also, the traffic around that area is always terrible, and it will... More

Ordinary shopping street except for the European buildings. But not European/Russian shops -only Chinese with the same stores you can find anywhere else. The buildings look better maintained on Central Street. The "Chinese Russian Market" that some sources say is supposed to be here, is nowhere to be found. And if it's getting late, you may encounter the additional problem... More

There are many little stall selling local food like fermented smelly tofu, Zhuchang fen, chicken & mushroom roasted pancake, pork floss sushi. There is a underground shopping centre which close at 4pm. Nothing much. Don't waste time to visit here. Old building lying around. A run down place.

Compared to zhongyang pedestrian street, its worse. We arrived here at noon, and walking along way straight, nothing to buy, not interesting. I researched for chinese russian market and the destination pointed here. But we didn't find any sign of chinese russian market. So its kinda wasting time here.

3 Километра Длинная улица. 果戈里大街上有许多商店和俄式风格的教堂。Orthodox churches are located here along with the Library--Gogol Library/Bookstore in which you can buy books and read them for free! The interior of the Library is very Russian)) Chandeliers, paintings, and other beautiful things. There's also a Russian River Embankment there! Nothing too special. And a children't park near the bridge. Overall, I love it!... More

A normal street with different shops. In the middle of the street (on the interchange of Gogol street and Gexin Street) you will find a church called Harbin St. Alekseyev Church, closed at the time of visit. On the otherhand we discover underground shops near the department store in Gogol street

This downtown street has some big old buildings in it, with lots of history, very atmospheric. Some decent shopping to be had here, with hundreds of little shops selling everything from snacks to clothing to gifts to electronics, and everything in between. Goog to wander along in the evenings sampling the food, while doing some light shopping.
