Just what you expect really. Not a very wide beach but there are plenty of umbrellas and loungers for hire. Water is clean and has designated swimming areas. There are lots of restaurants overlooking the sea and snuggled in between the restaurants are toilets and lockers for hire. There are beach activities you can do, Jetski, paragliding etc, however safety... More

Nice sand and clear water, lots of Chinese seafood restaurants and no beach bars as we have in Europe, they have very loud 'music' at night. Sunbeds belong to hotels so you may need your own parasol etc. Dolphin sports bar on main road was the best place for atmosphere and food and beers etc. This area is mainly for... More

Its not a bad beach that's in the city, lots of Russians, the peddlers do hassle but not too much for it to be annoying. On some days the water can be quite clear in nice.

This is a nice clean beach that is easy accessible. Buses stop nearby or you can even walk there if it's not too hot. It's reasonably clean and there's lifeguards on duty. There's the usual Jet skis and Para sailing available and it can get busy. You can rent deck chairs if you don't fancy lying on the beach. Close... More

I'm really a "beach" girl, but I liked the 2 days I spent on the beach. You can rent a deckchair for 25 CNY and it's not really expensive for all the day. You can also make some activities like parasailing or jet ski or some others I didn't try. The prices are good and even if you don't speak... More

Good location , however there are too many people with no specific place to rest and enjoy the beach . Beach cleanliness needs to improve greatly !

Easy accessible, public city buses in a walking distance. Many shops, bars and restaurants in the area. Clean, with lifeguards on site. In February it was a bit busy - mostly Chinese and Russians.

You have absolutely no idea what this lovely place was like before development. One lovely government run hotel the Dadonghai Hotel and a few beach chalets. Yalong bay was sea and trees, nothing else, beautiful clear sea, tropical fish around your feet, sunsets to die for, no horrible masses, no Russians. beach cafe served shrimps and fish from the bay... Famous beach area with music bars on the side. The only downside is that they close down the music bars quite early.
