An educational trip for me. Learned alot about the 2 minority culture in China. Intrigued by how the life of the li zhu is and their art.

The Ethnic village is a unique cultural experience that is hard to find elsewhere. We really enjoyed the show as well. For 200 rmb you can't beat it.

This is not an ethnic village. Its a huge tourist complex built in the mountains. I'm unsure how to describe it as it defies anything I've seen before. There's about 15 minutes worth of cultural explanation of the Li people. Mostly though posters and text....More

Be prepared to walk alot in the tropical humidity. Electric cars bring you to the buildings but you still need to walk to see the exhibits. Lots of sitting areas to sit between exhibits. Exhibits had shown differences in Hainan culture dating back to BC....More
