The island is great for relaxing walks, although with the December 2016 opening of the opera house to performances, the majority of the island visitors will be attracted primarily by the hi-tech and very beautiful new steel and glass opera house structures. The Zhuhai Opera House is built on an island. Performances began in December 2016. It is made of... More

This is a pleasant place to go for a walk or play with the kids. It takes about half an hour to walk right round the island

Yelidao island is small, but the scenery there is still very beautiful especially at dawn. The most common thing to do here is hanging and chat with friends. There are many people rent the there/four seats bike there and go cycling with family. The renting fee is not expensive but they can have a lot of fun. I have never... More

I have been to Yelidao for many times since few years in Zhuhai. It is a good place to relax, walking and enjoy the family outing. Recently i noticed the opera house in near completion and was really amazed by the architecture and design.

Yelidao is one of many island off the cost of Zhuhai, but in that case it is so close that is connected to the mainland. Nowadays (6 of October 2016), a new bridge has been built, the second one, so it's easy to walk to Yelidao island from the promenade. Yelidao is overed by forest where there are not many... More

We visited this island on a chinese winterday in the weekend. It was afternoon but It wasn't crowded. You could walk a tour in about 1,5 hour or rent a bike. The island had some typical touristshops for water and stuff. The roads were nicely paved and had enough places to touch and observe the sea although there was no... More

Although this park is really nice for a stroll on the walking path, it also houses a very nice restaurant. The food is good and well prepared, however, it is a little on the expensive side.

I love this island. It's a small island off the coast of Zhuhai where one can access by walking or bike across a small bridge. The island has a beautiful walking path that traces the shore line. Great hiking and bike rental. The island also has a great seafood restaurant with delicious seafood but can be a little expensive.

Small and closest island to mainland Zhuhai. Picnic area. Favorite for locals. Food and drinks stalls. Various models of bicycle to hire. Ride short enough to enjoy. Will be far more attractive when Opera house opens.

Perfect for a slow stroll, a light jog, bicycle hire or for the more energetic take on the challenge of the multiple mountain trails via the steps which run right up and down throughout. A nice clean and level block paved walkway circling the island. Making it ideal for people of all fitness abilities, wheelchair and pushchair friendly. Many places... More
