Publicity photos make the status loom large; in person, not so

A slightly faded statue, seems to solicit much tourist interest, watching it for a few minutes is adequate

If you visit zhuhai, definitely have to visit this statue. I visited in a rainy day and I just took the picture. But if you can visit in a sunny day, it's a good place to walk around. Also it's next to a beautiful park and some malls.

It's the symbol of Zhuhai, but it's only a small statue on a rock by the sea in the northern part of the town.

It's just a statue of a girl. The main attraction is the neighbouring parks, beach and promenade. The statue itself is not much.

The statue in the middle of the calm sea is a serene sight. However, there isn't much to see in the area surrounding the statue aside from the beach. Information pertaining to the legend behind the icon is also not available at the site. Be careful on the paved stone platform in front of the statue. The railings are only... More

While walking along the lover road, i usually saw lots of tourists taking photo of this landmark. This landmark really represent Zhuhai. The only concern is it is near to the road and cause lots of traffic congestion. It will be nice to build a bridge to avoid the trafic jam.

This iconic statue set in the sea and mounted on rocks near the shore is supposed to keep Zhuhai safe from typhoons. It is a relatively new statue but an obvious draw to native Chinese who were plentiful on the shore and on the walkways and platforms which provided the best views of the statue. It's worth a look but... More
