We rented bikes and cycled around this lake for 3hrs. It only cost 25RMB. The entrance to the bike-rental area is opposite a small mall with a Starbucks, KFC & McD's so afterwards you can get a cold beverage and a snack should you desire. The cycle route varies depending on the route you take but we mostly cycled along... More

Best to visit this place outside of holidays otherwise it is extremely busy . You can hire bicycles and tandem bikes to travel around the lake . It has great bike paths and scenic . The lake is huge and to go around the whole lake is a ride in excess of 40 km . Plenty of places to buy... More

Great walking paths, some nice views, and some terrific temples. If you happen to be in the area, this is a good place for a run or a walk, and on a clear day, a climb up the mountain is worth it for the view. The only disappointment is the filthy water in the lakes/ponds.

i often visit here to bike around the lake or just walk or picnic on my he shores, in the evening is best because of the ambiance the lake lends to the surrounding hotels and eateries. This is a place I will definitely visit time and again

I am an American living in Songshan Lake so I spend a lot of time enjoying it's beauty. From the main "business" area near the Hyatt or Aloft Hotels, there is easy access to the lake, where there is a paved path that goes around the lake. On this first section of the path, no bicycles are allowed, so if... More

Early morning walks around the lake are more than invigorating the are also a thing of beauty. We stayed at an apartment nearby and the views of this gorgeous lake we stunning. In an area of high density, this lake is a real oasis of stunning beauty. Looking forward to our return.

A nice getaway from the surrounding bustling China towns. I recommend seeing the entire lake, but would rent a bike given the lake is fairly large.

This is a good place to relax and watch what is going on and many Chinese families come here and enjoy the park and lake but on a public holiday it is manic but still enjoyable and worth a look
