A well laid out museum that gives a good historical view of the town and region. The exhibition on the native population is very interesting and so is also the history of Puerto Natales with many photos and explanations of the hardships the early settlers...More

A very nicely presented small museum that gives a good insight into the lives of both the indigenous peoples and the early settlers. Most of the commentary is in both Spanish and English, which is very helpful. Well worth the CLP1000 entry, and an hour...More

Small, cosy and modest museum, that gives the essential information about the town's and the region's history, from different points of view. Contains original photos and daily items, such as household staff.

This was one of my favorite activities in Puerto Natales. The museum offers a bit of geologic history of the area (you'll soon discover why the local population boasts of the megalodon!) and of the native people who inhabited the area prior to European encroachment....More

We enjoyed learning about the history of the area and the original inhabitants. A must visit for a better understanding of Patagonia.

An honest and well laid out museum enough to while away an hour or more looking at the multi lingual exhibits. Not expensive and quite easy to find

A nice museum about the native inhabitants and their lives. Also very cheap at only 1000 pesos, well worth the stop if you have a day in Puerto Natales and not traveling to the park.

This museum provided an very good overview of the native inhabitants of the region, along with historical information about non-native settlements. it was a great 1 hour stop on a rainy day in town.

This Museum on the small side gives equal time to the indigenous history with well laid out displays containing excellent photography and tools. It was a great mid day activity.

Only $1.000 each for foreigners, informative static displays in Spanish, most with English translations. Gives a good understanding of the history of the area but shies away from the explaining the fate of the indigenous people in any detail.
