We had seen a number of Glaciers up close and personal but having prepaid for this cruise we decided to go along for the ride. How could I think like that? Truly this was yet again another place full of wonder in the National Park. The Staff on the Lago Grey vessel were knowledgable and friendly and the experience is... More

We saw the glacier as part of the W Trek. Unfortunately, we hadn't allowed time to do a half day glacier trek, due to having to get back to Refugio Grand Paine. It would have been great if the catamaran service could provide an option to return to the Grey Glacier so hikers can do a round trip, but we... More

The glacier had carved several large blocks of ice. All a great shade of blue. Alas the 3pm boat that should have taken us to the face of the glacier broke down so the sailing was cancelled. We did have a stroll on the shore an spotted a Condor above. 👍

The glacier is phenomenal and truly a sight not to miss if you have the time to get to Grey Lake. The guided tours were exceptional with people who really love and have a passion for their work. You really won't believe the different colours, shapes, sizes and scale of the glacier. We also did a Kayak trip around the... More

This was the highlight of our trip to Torres del Paine National Park. We did the 3 hour Glacier Grey boat tour from Hotel Lago Grey. Worth every penny!

Glacier Grey was truly a sight to see, especially since it was my first time seeing glaciers. The boat ride was a good length and takes you right up to the glacier, and they have a guide who speaks in English, Spanish, and French to describe what you're seeing. The boat staff are very helpful in taking pictures for you.... More

We visited here as part of a day trip to Torres del Paine. We did not go up to glacier but an amazing walk along the bottom of the lake with lovely views of gage glacier. Moment of shear heaven a glass of Scotch whisky with some glacier - what more could a Scotsman ask for so far from home.... More

Strongly recommended to take a boat tour. It is unique experience although bit pricey due to the monopoly that local hotel have in organizing the tour. It is recommended to make a boat tour reservation in advance although we got on the boat around Christmas time without any reservation. Dress well since it may be extremely windy on the boat....
