We had such a fantastic day doing the full day ride. Our guide was Catalena and she was so informative, lovely and also very funny. We ended up having a private trip for just us (a couple) as no-one else had booked the full day. This meant we got to go at our own pace and had a very personal... More

This is the second time this year I've been there for the full day ride, the asado and staying the night in the cabana. I would recommend doing all three of these things to get the full "salvaje" experience. The Pingo Salvaje team is amazing, accommodating, friendly and very professional and they cater to people of all experience. I am... More

Pingo Salvaje is absolutely amazing. It is a short drive from puerto natales and the landscape, the refugio, camping area ranch was all beautiful. Then the customer service was amazing. It was a little bit of a wait to hear back via email, but totally worth it, Paula, Javiera, Claudio, Kai, Lito, and many others were all amazing. Whatever we... More

My husband and I did a half-day ride with the folks at Pingo Salvaje during our honeymoon in October, and we were so glad we were able to do this! A few weeks before we arrived in Chile, we communicated via email with Paula – who was very responsive – about our time constraints, ride options, and costs. We reserved... More

I'll start by mentioning that I'm a very experienced rider. I took their 6 hour ride to the top of one of the local mountains with a gaucho, ranch hand and 1 other rider, who happened to be a beginner. (He had no trouble and got some great instruction.) I worked at a stable and recognize this is an excellent... More

Not something I'd planned on doing but the other half fancied giving it a try, having never sat on a horse before. I had when I was much younger, but not in a long time. It's a nice set-up, the owner and the riders are all very nice & patient and the horses are all quite docile and good-natured. Perhaps... More

This is a cool niche traditional lodge to do horse riding at where you can also stay overnight and have bbq dinner. Totally enjoyed this experience, but I think a more optimized plan would be to do horseback riding in Torres del Paine (and save part of your W trek), which I think would've been a better choice because 1)... Our family (2 adults & 3 children - 13, 11, 9) spent a glorious afternoon in Patagonia riding with Pingo Salvaje. We called one evening and were so excited that they had availability for the following afternoon for a 3 hour ride beginning at 3:00pm. All of our family has very limited riding experience. This was not a problem at... More

We took our teens who are the gauges lately for fun. We all enjoyed it tremendously. Kids enjoyed every minute of the 3 hours. If I had a $1 for each time they said "this is amazing" I would have paid for this trip! Customer service during online was superb, which isn't common in Chile. We got a 10 minute... More

I have done some riding in my days and have had some good and some really bad experiences. This one outperforms them all. Combine the sheer beauty of the area with a knowledgeable and personable guide, excellent customer service from first contact, incredible pricing, and the company's willingness to find a solution so our three year old son could participate...
