Title says it all. Chile has beautiful things to offer, but Lauca definetely is the most underrated location by all tourist guides. Which may make it even more attractive: incredible landscapes, beautiful lagoons, a lot of wildlife (vicuñas, lamas, alpacas, vizcachas, a lot-lot-lot of different...More

Mainly the 3 interesting place in the park is the Changura laguna, the Salar and Putre village. We rented a car to visit the park and in 2 days we did all these places plus hot springs near the Salar.

This park never ceases to amaze. So beautiful, so silent and yet so vibrant and full of life. The views are spectacular, never really spoiled by the road. If you can't see Parinacota reflected in Lake Chungara, try another trip the next day, chances are...More

This place is amazing; I want to visit again when I have more time in the area. I was hoping for a glimpse of a vicuna and was pleasantly surprised to see groups of them. There were also alpacas grazing pretty much everywhere. I think...More

One of the most beautiful places I had ever seen! Plan the whole day for this trip. The road is very beautiful but very difficult. Not too many places to get food or water, so be prepared

Hi, the distance will be around 120 miles depending on how far you want to go in the park. Everywhere you look is a painting. You should take a guided tour that will pick you at the hotel and make the journey with lots of... More
