There is not much to see in this temple. Sorrounded by water. Walking in the long wooden path/bridge is a nice experience. Challenging when its hot and windy. Take a picture in the middle of the wooden path/bridge.

Neak Prean is outside of the Angkor Thom city and will take you 30 minutes more (by Tuk Tuk) to get to. It is a water temple which is accessible via a long causeway that bisects two beautiful lakes. This is the beauty of Neak...More

it is not worth it if we compare with the effort how to get there. we must walk away on the long narrow wood bridge, for seeing a very small temple which look like a small pond. I can't explain more.

This shrine is set amongst pools. It is small but serene. The highlight, however, was crossing a long foot bridge to get to the shrine. It was surrounded by water and sunken, decaying trees. Frogs called out all the way along, and the jungle was...More

When our guide said we were next visiting a hospital we all thought we were off to see a place of healing, instead it turns out to be a place of spiritual healing! The walk to this temple is along a pier set on a...More

The temple itself is beatiful, featuring a horse sculpture and an Alokitesvara. I enjoyed walking on the bridge leading to the temple and then reading the book getting information on what the ruins represented. However, I was rather disappointed that access to most part of...More

This temple is one of the best in grand circuit. The way to/from the temple is fantastic. The lake reflects trees and clouds. So lovely. The temple itself is small, but it is the only one that I have seen in Angkor which is on...More

Worth the visit, be sure to get a good guide to explain to you how the purification was done and how both Hindu and Buddhists could worship there...

Neak Pean temple is nothing special. It just consists of some little temples. But the path going there is the true treasure. To go there you have to pass through the long wood bridge above the clear water. The clear water reflects the horizon so...More

If you are dropped off in the car park, then it's about 15 minutes across the causeway. It's definitely worth going to and spending some time there. The view across the channel is wonderful
