If you want to ride the elephants, this is the place to find them. The gate itself is pretty impressive, too.

Driving up to or through the Victory Gate is an exciting moment. It's like something out of an Indian Jones movie. Go see it for yourself!

Seeing this gate rising up before you is a mind-blowing experience. It feels powerful and ancient, as does much of Angkor Wat.

Victory Gate is one of the gates leading to Angkor Thom and the Bayon Temple. Leading up to the gate are statues lining the bridge. Good faces are on the left side and evil faces are on the right side.

This gate is one, probably the most popular entry gate to Angkor Thom city area, with its biggest highlight - the Bayon Temple. It's a remarkable piece of history and art dating back to the 12 cent.

There are 5 separate gates to the Angkor temples and the Victory Gate is one of them. Unbelievable that it was built in the 12th century and is still standing. The gate itself was quite high and intricate but it is the smiling face which was so impressive.
