Interesting visit to the workshops of Artisans d'Angkor. We just passed by and got a free guided tour of all the workshops (stone and wood carving, silver, painting,...) which was great to see, for us and the children. Off course you can buy something in the shop at the end of the tour, but they were never pushy about it.... More

Upscale arts and crafts, no sales pressure, a joy to visit the workshops and shop. We enjoyed visiting and there was not high pressure sales person following us through the visit.

Visited the silk factory way out of town. What a eye opening experience , I will never question the price of silk clothes again, they have a tour through the entire process and it was so interesting , yes they lead you to there store at the end, but never any pressure to purchase . If you come to Siem... More

A really good place to browse and see the products being made to old methods. The gift shop at the end is reasonably priced and keeps lots of Cambodians in a job.

Here you can see artisans carving sandstone making carved panels similar to the ones at AW. that was worth seeing.

Nice place, pleasure to observe the skilled artisans creating wonderful products. Bit overrated and overpriced; sure the quality is good. Not convincing numbers about your spend being ploughed back to the artisan community of Cambodia. Spending about US$ 50- 70 is reasonable. About 60-90 minutes tour is sufficient.

I'd visited a craft workshop in Kuala Lumpur many years ago where you were encouraged to participate in the crafts. I painted a silk/wax picture and got to take it home. I think i was expecting something similar here and was a little disappointed. They do have some interactive displays, but nothing to really immerse yourself in the crafts. That... More

It is free and walking distance to the market and pub street and it is a good activity if you want to learn about the local culture and arts. It takes only about a half hour to an hour depending on how many questions you have. At the end there is a store and although expensive, the money you spend... More

Reassuring to be able to buy craftwork that is well made and be confident that the money is being ploughed back into the local community.

Really enjoyed this tour. The guide took special care of my family allowing my 4 year old son to get some hands on experience. He absolutely loved it. Highlight of the trip. They have a very nice shop at the end. The prices are worth it knowing the products were hand made on site and not by some shady factory... More
