Just 15 minutes from Kasane to the main gate, this is a must do. The drive takes about 3 hours along the Chobe river and you will see plenty of elephants, antelope, warthogs, and even lions

I highly recommend the boat cruises offered on the Chobe River. It really is a fun and unique way of viewing game.

Most lodges off a Chobe River cruise as part of their accommodation and I would highly recommend. Although there are a lot of boats on the water in the afternoon, they are usually spaced out far enough that you can get good views and photos....More

I may be wrong, and I can't remember the various dates I was in Kasane but the elephant population and the hippo population seem to be resident so they are around anytime as they are in Chobe NP..... And of course the... More

We had intended doing the Zambesi Queen but changed to land based Chobe Bakwena Lodge. This proved a good move owing to the recent rains in the area. Because there was water all through the park the animals were not coming... More
