Took the day trip from Copacabana that goes to both isla de la luna and isla del sol. It takes 1.5 hours to Sol and a further 50 mins to Luna. The Luna stop consists of 1 hour to visit a small area of ruins....More

There is one ruin on this island. It is interesting to see on a nice day if you have time to waste. However, it is not worth the time and effort to get here if you are only around for a limited time and want...More

There are not many ruins to see on The Island of the Moon but its popularity has increased because boats are now restricted to only one part of the Island of the Sun. This made for a shorter hike where we veered of the regular...More

Isla de la Luna is beautiful little island with the ruins of Temple of the Virgins. Just it was very disappointing that when you get out of the boat you are imediatelly asked to pay entrance fee, but you don't get any ticket

Even though it's a small island, we spent an amazing couple of hours on this island which exudes a strong feminine energy of nurturing and peace. The doorways in the main plaza are places where the spirit world can connect to you especially during the...More
