I was expecting an edgy, intense vibe, but really this is a local market. It's huge, sells everything, but as a tourist stall after stall of shoes, knock-off clothes, tech stuff etc isn't what I'm really looking for

We visited La Cancha, which is really multiple markets with 'departments' dedicated to food, musical instruments, native crafts, toys, shoes, etc. on our own. It was a great experience with kind and patient sellers willing to bargain. You have to be smart and keep an...More
