Love it!

I could spend days wandering downtown Ann Arbor! It has so many shops and diverse restaurants. Many of those restaurants offer outdoor seating also!

Had been recommended to visit Ann Arbor, by some American friends, as part of our journey west to Chicago. It was nice but nothing fantastic and we have seen far prettier Main Streets across the mid west. We went twice, once during the afternoon and again in the evening. The latter was the best because the restaurants were busy and... More

I have lived in Ann Arbor for 45 years. In the early years, Downtown/Main Street was the old townie street. The the Mall opened and Downtown went dead. It looked like every other abandoned downtown. In the last 25 years it has gotten better every year. It is now a street filled with excellent dining, fun bars, unique boutiques (many... More

Good food from dozens of restaurants, smiling people filling the streets, street musicians, and even a few mostly-friendly beggars. Shops filled with the wonders of the world, Ann Arbor culture, peace and love. If you aren't filled with wonder that we get to live such privileged lives, you are barely conscious.

Great place to find that one of a kind gift for that person who has everything. Many of the restaurants had live music and patios which makes... More

It was a nice area. Mixture of shops, bars and specialty eateries and place to get a drink. Felt very safe at night.

Crazy crowded, chaotic, everything you could think of for a major college town. From shopping to Pubs and restaurants. Even just for walking around and people watching. The people watching alone is great.
