Great one man play. Tribute to Sammy Davis Jr

Performance Network Theatre in Ann Arbor, Michigan, is located in a central area of "downtown," with good on-street and parking structure parking close by. This small theatre puts on important plays and has a long enough run to allow planning in advance and short-term. Every play I have seen there over the past 15 years has been excellent. Note: I... Recently we saw "Why Not Me" at Performance Network. We have seen a number of very good plays at Performance Network including "Ain't Misbehavin' " by the same author. This play was very unique. One hour and forty minutes of constant monolog, singing and dancing. For someone who saw Sammy Davis Jr. frequently on the Tonight Show, other talk shows,... More

It is hard to say I "enjoyed" Who's Afraid of Virgina Woolf given the dark nature of the play. But while I am at a loss for the descriptive, I can say with little hesitation that it was a professional and captivating performance, as has been everything else I have seen there. It is a delightful small venue and it... More

Performance Network is a unique experience as far as entertainment in Washtenaw County is concerned. It is profession theater in a small venue and a wide variety of presentations. We have enjoyed classic plays like The Glass Menagerie as well as unusual plays about Marie Antoinette. We have enjoyed watching actor in close proximity and often with question & answer... More

A theater with very innovative plays. The theater has been reorganized under new leadership. The theater does a very good job bringing theater to Ann Arbor.

Living in Ann Arbor the Performance Network Theatre in Chelsea is a nice evenings drive out, about 45 minutes, and I like so many in south-east Michigan go there usually at least once annually. The performances are good. A relative of mine has played there numerous times and he did not get in as an actor until he had gotten... More

This is a great place to see a good professional theater show. The venue needs updating, but the entertainment is excellent. To see what is playing when you are in Ann Arbor, you'll have to visit their web site.

We saw the matinee performance of The Gift of the Magi after Thanksgiving. The comfortably cozy theatre gave my husband, our 24 year old God-daughter an I, a clear view of the actors expressions and all set and costume details that make a good performance an experience. The actors triggered laughter, tears and reflection about both the gifts that I... More

Our daughter, my husband, and I attended a Saturday matinee at the Performance Network Theater where we watched the outstanding acting in the play "Driving Miss Daisy". There were only three cast members in the play, but their acting kept us spellbound with their excellent performances. We saw them age as they covered a 25 year time period. The two... More

We saw "The Big Bang" at a Saturday matinee. The show was hilarious, with lots of clever puns and sight gags. The cast seemed to be enjoying themselves as much as we were. The "new" Performance Network looks promising.
