Our family was visiting the area because of a football game. We had some extra time, so decided to visit this museum. It was a great experience. There were many exhibits and works of art on several different levels. Our most difficult problem was to find parking within a sensible distance. We finally did find street parking with meters which... More

This was my first visit since the expansion. The new addition is wonderful and is able to display more the University's art collection at one time.

This is a fine collection housed in a relatively newly expanded museum, the new wing of which is alone worth a visit. Exhibitions are generally interesting; for my money, the contemporary art collection is the best feature of this eclectic museum. The suggested admission is $10. It is well worth that price.

This museum is free and also worth the visit. Stop in if you are in the area. I was pleasantly surprised how extensive it is and wish I had actually planned my visit to allow more time. Really enjoyed the special exhibit going on with Photos of Elizabeth Taylor's house and dressing room, etc. You can see a wonderful Tiffany... More

Right next to the law quadrangle. Lovely, open, well lighted. The exhibits are each relatively small, but precious and cover a wide range of cultures. Like there is a Tiffany exhibit - all of the elements came from one (exquisite) home. Easy to access, free, and worth the hour or so it takes to go through.

The small galleries on multiple levels hold some significant pieces. The two di Suvero pieces outside the main entrance prepares you for the diverse collection inside. There are works from early European to Asian to African to contemporary American. All are small collections but significant, none the less. Some of the artists represented include: Whistler, Pissaro, Gericault, Daumier, Delacroix, Ernst,... More

I am not an art enthusiasts, but I really enjoyed my visit to this museum. The museum was not crowded at all, so I was able spend as much time as I wanted looking at each piece of art. This is definitely a must see when visiting Ann Arbor.

I was totally amazed at all this museum had to offer. I wish I had more time. I could have spent an entire day here. I spent 4 years at U of M, and never visited the museum, awesome. Plan on some time, you will be swept away by the variety of art exhibited.

We had a very limited amount of time here because of a tight schedule. I wish that we had had more time as I really enjoyed what I saw. I spent most of the time with the Tiffany collection on the second floor. That was excellent. There is no admission fee so you have the luxury of stopping by even... More
