Peaceful, tree-lined park with skatepark and multi-use building, volley ball area with several courts, swing sets, and lake frontage.

We lived just down the road from here and used the beach every day during the summer. Lots of beautiful beach and clear blue water to enjoy. One of the natural wonders of the Alpena area.

We stopped by as we explored Alpena. It's a nice beach park and we got to enjoy the lake as we took a break from the car.

We stopped here recently just to stare at the Caribbean blue waters of Lake Huron and stretch our legs a bit. What a nice park! Lots of families were there enjoying the playground and sandy beach. We walked south a bit along the Alpena Bi-Path...More

This park is always nice for a visit. There's beach, grass, and plenty of parking. But don't feed the birds, please! I don't think there's much more to say about it except go and enjoy.

Poor Mich-e-ke-wis. It is the oldest park in our city. In its heyday, it boasted a wonderful Craftsman Bathhouse where we could change our clothes, rent a locker & buy snacks. There were three rafts, lifeguards on a boat out in the lake & on...More
