Currently the museum is closed and there doesn't seem to be any indication of when it will reopen after the refurbishment. A great shame as this is rated as the top museum in Sucre by most guides.

What a jewel...literally. Vestments and objects of worship are beyond belief. Lovely religious art as well.

Worth making time in your schedule to see the inside of the cathedral and Virgin of Guadaloupe. Unbelievable amount of jewels inside this place.

In my opinion, this has been the highlight of all the museums in Sucre. The cathedral is absolutely beautiful, the history excellent, artifacts and paintings very interesting and very unique.
