We caught a minibus from the Mercado Chuquimia on Universidad which cost 5 Bolivianos to Miraflores and leave as soon as the bus is full. Miraflores wasn't quite our thing so we caught the bus back to Ojo del Inca (1 BV). Cross the bridge...More

We went to the ojo del Inca in March 2017, but the site was closed. We were told it was because many people died drawn in the laguna so we couldn't visit it and had to go back to Potosi... There is no sign at...More

I went here today. The guy told me the lake was prohibitted to use due to danger concern. He suggested the other small lake behind the hill. There was also a small pool for the same.

Absolutely no need to book an organised tour. Just get the 'micro' on the Agenda Universitaria in front of the stadium. We saw people arriving with the taxi and they were asked to pay twice the price we paid.

Changerooms are disgusting, and the view is okay but nothing special for the region. Most dissapointing was that the water was lukewarm. Also no place to stand at all in the pool, have to tread water as long as possible and hold onto the algae...More

Really worth while to go there. Easy to reach by local bus. Still not spoiled by commerce. Fantastic setting with mountains all around. The water is a bit warm to swim a lot, but pleasant enough. Take lots of protection against the sun.
