Described as both a ‘Vertical City’ and ‘A Living Wonder,’ Burj Khalifa, developed by Dubai-based Emaar Properties PJSC, is the world’s tallest building. Rising gracefully from the desert, Burj Khalifa honours the city with its extraordinary union of art, engineering and meticulous craftsmanship. At 828 metres (2,716.5 ft), the 200 plus storey Burj Khalifa has 160 habitable levels, the most of any building in the world. The tower was inaugurated on January 4, 2010, and is responsible for a number of world-firsts. The tower became the world’s tallest man-made structure just 1,325 days after excavation work started in January 2004. Burj Khalifa utilised a record-breaking 330,000 cubic metres of concrete; 39,000 tonnes of steel reinforcement; 103,000 square metres of glass; and 15,500 square metres of embossed stainless steel. The tower took 22 million man hours to build.

Ok it’s the tallest building in the world! But for many people the attraction is on the top. You look down and you get the same view as you would get if your sitting in an airplane. Plus the line is huge and time consuming....More

We have visited many times over the years for various meals. What an experience this place is. Just the lobby itself makes the visit worthwhile without the simply stunning restaurants there are to dine in. This is not a cheap meal by any means, however...More

Although a little expensive it was well worth it. At the highest viewing level I felt comfortable and if anyone is afraid of heights you need not be as it felt as if I was on the ground floor. Fantastic views all round.

Not scary. Elevator ride has no windows and moves steadily. Once at the top avoid getting too close and it is just a lovely view. Spent about 30 minutes at the top and came down.

Fountain show is every half an hour. The best view is outside the mall underneath the Apple store, or use the balcony at Apple which is a great viewing deck !

You have to book a timed slot. They then let you in around 15 minutes before your time. I think you swap your vouchers at the ticket desk. Maybe you could do it online, that's what I did, and booked my chosen time slot well... More
